Common Ground 2015


An inter-faith spoken word program of workshops and performances by young people exploring the role faith and identity play in our everyday. It has provided young people with opportunities to connect with each other, to develop new creative ideas around their diverse faiths and identities and promote social cohesion and mutual understanding.

Common Ground 2015 features 8 poems written by participants as part of the 2015 program. Each poem is accompanied by a soundscape and beats created by local producers So.Crates (Cazeaux O.S.L.O and Skomes).

**The poets have decided to donate all their proceeds, from the sale of this album, to the Australian Hazara Women’s Friendship Network**

Australian Producer SKOMES lives a few minutes from Californian MC Cazeaux O.S.L.O. in Footscray. Since they live so close and float in similar life patterns, SKOMES bums a ride a few times a week.
