It gives our people an opportunity to get together, come back to country, and to connect, express, heal and inspire. I feel as though this is not just a job but a responsibility to be able to provide our kids an experience to get up under the stars and dance in the footsteps of their ancestors!’
At 7.30 PM, the fire will be lit in our specially created sandpit for a Welcome to Country, Smoking Ceremony and deadly sunset corroboree. Be part of this special event that will see Aboriginal dance groups from all around Victoria come together to inspire community and celebrate ancient Yorta Yorta stories, place, spirit and ceremony.
